Polly Mackintosh

Hello! I’m Polly, a freelance writer, editor and comms strategist. I also have a secret past as a translator from French.

You’ll currently find me telling brand stories by day, making and eating pickles by night. Over the past few months, I’ve lent my words and wisdom to clients including Mindful Chef, B Bagel, Treetop Golf and The Online Studio, as well as advising on the communications strategy for the environment charity CPRE London. The swimming pool is usually my creative sparring partner of choice, but I can work with the robots too.

In past work lives, I delivered word excellence at the Jamie Oliver Group, led the editorial strategy for the indie publisher Gallic Books (now part of Pushkin Press), and ran all things communications and tone of voice for the food media brand Sorted Food.
